- COA Fertigation may be used in fertigation/irrigation or agricultural spraying in a standard application rate of between 1 – 4 ℓ per ha.

|These components have the following functions and attributes:
Organic acids (fulvic, humic)
Amino acids is the building block for enzymes and hormones. They contain NH2 type Nitrogen to assists redox reactions for the metabolic systems in the plant i.e. Krebbs process.
“Sugary” amino acids
This potentially energy filled NH2 type Nitrogen is an essential food source for reducing microorganisms and other nutrient chelating agent for easier uptake.
Nowhere in nature do “organic acids” exist isolated or by itself. Compost or manure does not contain only one component of the organic acid grouping. The use of a single component as supplement for growing plants is therefore not practicable to ensure optimal results.
The combination of these different ingredients ensures an excellent environment for the development of roots and vigorous growth in seedlings. Young roots can be damaged easily by mechanical stress or environmental conditions. This damage can be irreversible and have an influence on plant performance and yield in latter growth stages
It is therefore important to nurture the plant and ensure an optimal environment for the development of the root system in the crucial period from germination to the first 6-9 weeks.
It is also important for perennials from the first budding to flowering where there is good regrowth of fresh hair roots for efficient Ca uptake for continuous optimal metabolical performance through the growth season. This is also an integral part of Integrated Plant Energy Management (IPEM)
